Jennifer Bewerse is an interdisciplinary artist working in film, music, and performance. As a cellist specializing in contemporary music, she has premiered over 100 works and is described as “[drawing] from her instrument every possible sound short of a human voice.

She has performed as a guest soloist for the wasteLAnd and Synchromy Concert Series, Robert Helps Festival, Without Walls Festival, was a soundscape Festival Performance Prizewinner (Italy), a Women’s International Study Center and Human Resources LA resident artist, and is a Myrna Loy Center Artists Award recipient. Her recent performance of Rachel Beetz’s “Luna” was listed as one of Los Angeles’ “Best Classical Performances of 2024” by the San Francisco Classical Voice.
