Mario A. Redondo Luna

Born and raised in Mexicali, B.C., Mexico, Mario A. Redondo Luna brings a rich and diverse background in music to Long Beach Opera.
Currently, Mario is pursuing a Vocal Performance degree with a minor in Marketing at the prestigious Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University, Long Beach. Mario is a proud recipient of the Patrick Pritchard Endowed Scholarship and the Dramatic Allied Arts Guild Scholarship. A transfer from Moorpark College, he actively participates in various ensembles and organizations on campus, including the University Choir, Mariachi Ensemble, and Mu Phi Epsilon Fraternity.
Mario is passionate about the transformative power of arts marketing. He firmly believes that marketers in the arts have the unique ability to change lives—both for the performers and the audience. Every single person a marketer reaches and inspires to attend an event has the potential to experience something life-changing.
Mario is a versatile performer, constantly engaging in various musical outlets such as mariachi, choirs, musical theater, opera, and more. He boasts an impressive track record in singing competitions and has done masterclasses across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, sharing his passion for music with aspiring singers. His dedication is evident in his numerous performances, including his annual participation in the Disneyland Candlelight Processional.
In addition to his performing career, Mario teaches voice and piano lessons to children and adults in neighboring cities, nurturing the next generation of musicians and helping them discover their musical potential. He believes in the transformative power of music and is committed to creating a stress-free, gratitude-filled learning environment for his students.
