Sarah Totty

Sarah Totty is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in Music Education at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University Long Beach. Primarily a vocalist, Sarah has sung in numerous choirs, theatrical troupes, vocal jazz ensembles and a cappella groups all over California. Sarah Totty is passionate about several aspects of the arts and loves to learn about and engage in many different diverse musical styles and cultures.
She believes that art can be an avenue through which humanity can express itself to the fullest degree, often exploring the depths of human nature and emotion in ways that words alone cannot.

Music, specifically, is a powerful force that can connect people from all backgrounds.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys attending (and sometimes starring in) theatrical productions, reading, learning new languages and skills, and exploring nature.

Sarah passionately supports the mission of Long Beach Opera and its efforts to uplift new voices in the Opera world as well as to challenge the minds of opera goers everywhere through artistic innovation.
