A member of the Grammy-nominated ensemble WildUp, Hopson has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Indianapolis Symphony, Juneau Symphony, LA Chamber Orchestra, LA Opera, LA Master Chorale, Pasadena Symphony & POPS, Long Beach Symphony, ReCollective Orchestra, and Southeast Symphony. An alumnus of the Academy Awards Orchestra, Spoleto Festival USA, Coachella Festival, Ojai Music Festival, La Jolla Music Society SummerFest, Lincoln Center Festival, and Hear Now Music Festival, he made his Kennedy Center debut in the 2023 RiverRun Festival.

Hopson produces arts programs, strategic plans, and legislation for culture organizations, government agencies, and artists in the United States and abroad. He is currently developing a record label in Jordan to support refugee-artists across the Middle East. He has presented masterclasses and guest lectures at The Juilliard School, USC, Butler University, CalArts, and Music Academy of the West.
